Zudorix (“Zudorix”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects the privacy of users of our applications and services.
This Privacy Policy explains how Zudorix applications access, use, store, process, and where applicable share information. It is the governing privacy policy for Zudorix applications covered below. Because different Zudorix apps provide different features, app-specific privacy practices are described separately in this Policy.
1. Apps Covered by This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy currently covers:
Zudorix InOut – an attendance management application that provides employee management, face-based attendance, check-in/check-out, attendance records and reports, backup/export features, Zudorix Credits, and related administrative tools.
As additional Zudorix applications are released, relevant app-specific privacy information may be added to this Policy.
2. Zudorix InOut – Information and Data Practices
2.1 Camera Access and Face-Based Attendance
Zudorix InOut uses the device camera for face enrollment and face-based attendance features.
When an authorized administrator enrolls a person for face recognition, the application processes facial information to create a mathematical face representation or template used for recognition.
In the current version of Zudorix InOut, face recognition information used for attendance is intended to be processed and stored locally on the device and is not uploaded to a Zudorix cloud server.
Camera access is used only when required for features such as face enrollment or attendance recognition.
Users may deny camera permission, but face-based attendance features will not function without camera access.
2.2 Employee and Attendance Information
Depending on how the organization uses Zudorix InOut, the app may store information such as:
- Employee name or identifier
- Employee-related information entered by an authorized administrator
- Face recognition template used for attendance
- Check-in and check-out records
- Attendance dates and times
- Attendance status
- Administrative settings
- Reports and related attendance information
This information is primarily used to provide the attendance-management functionality requested by the organization or administrator using the app.
2.3 Local Storage
Zudorix InOut is designed primarily as an offline-first application.
Employee information, attendance records, face templates, settings, and other operational information may be stored locally on the user’s device.
Zudorix does not operate a cloud account system for storing this attendance database in the current version of Zudorix InOut.
The organization or device administrator is responsible for protecting the device on which attendance information is stored.
2.4 Backup, Restore, Export and Sharing
Zudorix InOut may allow an authorized administrator to create backups, restore data, generate attendance reports, export information, or share files such as reports.
When an administrator deliberately exports, backs up, or shares information, the destination and subsequent handling of that information may depend on the application, storage location, cloud service, email service, messaging service, or other service selected by the administrator.
Zudorix does not control third-party services chosen by a user for storing or sharing exported files.
Administrators should share employee or attendance information only with authorized persons and through appropriate secure methods.
3. Advertising and Third-Party Services
Zudorix InOut may display advertising, including rewarded advertisements, using third-party advertising services such as Google AdMob.
Advertising providers and their software development kits may process information such as device identifiers, advertising information, approximate device-related information, app interactions, diagnostics, or other information necessary to provide, measure, secure, or personalize advertising, subject to the provider’s settings, user consent, applicable law, and the provider’s own privacy practices.
Where required, Zudorix InOut may use a consent management mechanism to request or manage advertising-related consent.
Zudorix does not control the independent data practices of third-party advertising providers.
4. Zudorix Credits
Zudorix InOut may provide users with Zudorix Credits or rewards within the application.
Zudorix Credits:
- are intended for use only within Zudorix InOut;
- are not transferable between users;
- cannot be transferred to another Zudorix application;
- do not represent money, stored value, a bank balance, or cryptocurrency;
- have no cash value; and
- cannot be withdrawn or redeemed for cash.
Information relating to Credits may be stored locally as part of the app’s operational data.
Additional rules governing Credits may be provided in the Zudorix InOut Terms of Use or Credits Terms displayed within the application.
5. Zudorix App Promotions
Zudorix applications may display information or promotional links relating to other Zudorix products or applications, such as Zudorix Flow.
Selecting such a link may open another application, an application store, or another relevant destination.
Credits or rewards available in one Zudorix application are not automatically transferable to another Zudorix application unless Zudorix expressly states otherwise.
6. Information We Do Not Intentionally Require for Zudorix InOut
The current version of Zudorix InOut is not designed to require access to:
- Contacts
- Precise location
- Microphone
- SMS messages
- Call logs
The app does not currently require a Zudorix cloud account or email login for normal attendance functionality.
If future versions introduce additional features or data practices, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
7. How Information Is Used
Information processed through Zudorix InOut may be used to:
- provide face-based attendance functionality;
- identify enrolled employees for attendance purposes;
- record check-in and check-out events;
- manage employees;
- calculate and display attendance information;
- generate reports;
- support backup and restore functions;
- maintain administrative preferences;
- provide Zudorix Credits and rewards;
- display advertisements where applicable;
- maintain application reliability, security, and functionality; and
- comply with applicable legal requirements.
8. Data Sharing
Zudorix does not sell employee face templates or attendance records.
In the current offline-first implementation, core employee, attendance, and face-recognition information is intended to remain on the device unless an authorized user deliberately exports, backs up, or shares it.
Some information may nevertheless be processed by third-party services incorporated into or used with the app, particularly advertising and consent-management services.
Users should also understand that information they independently export or share may be processed by the third-party service selected by them.
9. Security
Zudorix uses reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the application to help protect information.
Zudorix InOut includes measures intended to protect administrative functions and locally stored operational information.
However, no electronic storage system, mobile device, backup method, or security mechanism can guarantee absolute security.
Organizations using Zudorix InOut are responsible for:
- controlling access to the device;
- protecting administrator credentials or PINs;
- maintaining appropriate device security;
- protecting exported files and backups; and
- ensuring only authorized persons can access employee and attendance information.
10. Data Retention and Deletion
Locally stored Zudorix InOut information may remain on the device until it is deleted by an authorized administrator, removed through available application controls, cleared through device settings, or removed when the application and its associated local data are deleted, subject to the device operating system.
Backups or exported files created by a user may continue to exist wherever the user has saved or shared them.
Organizations are responsible for determining appropriate retention periods for employee and attendance information according to their operational and legal requirements.
Where Zudorix directly holds information through a third-party service, retention may also depend on the relevant service and applicable legal requirements.
11. Organizational and Administrator Responsibility
Zudorix InOut is intended to be operated by authorized individuals or organizations for legitimate attendance-management purposes.
The organization or administrator using the application is responsible for ensuring that it has any notices, permissions, consents, contractual rights, or other lawful basis required before enrolling individuals or processing their information through the application.
Zudorix InOut should not be used for unlawful surveillance, unauthorized identity processing, or any purpose prohibited by applicable law.
12. Children’s Privacy
Zudorix InOut is not directed to children and is designed as an organizational and employee attendance-management tool.
Organizations should not enroll or process information relating to minors through Zudorix InOut unless they have an appropriate lawful basis, authorization, and any consent required under applicable law.
Other Zudorix applications may have different intended audiences. Where a Zudorix application is designed for children or families, specific privacy provisions for that application will be added to this Policy as required.
13. User Choices and Permissions
Users can manage application permissions through their Android device settings.
Camera permission can be denied or withdrawn, although doing so will prevent face-enrollment and face-recognition features from functioning.
Advertising choices and consent options may also be available depending on the user’s region, device settings, Google settings, and applicable advertising consent mechanisms.
14. Third-Party Services
Zudorix applications may use third-party software, libraries, or services for functions such as advertising, consent management, application distribution, security, diagnostics, or device functionality.
Such third parties may process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
Zudorix expects third-party services incorporated into its applications to be used consistently with applicable law and platform requirements.
15. International Processing
Third-party technology providers used by Zudorix applications may process information in countries other than the user’s country of residence.
Such processing is subject to the safeguards and privacy practices maintained by the relevant service provider and applicable law.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Zudorix may update this Privacy Policy when:
- application functionality changes;
- new Zudorix applications are released;
- data practices change;
- third-party services change; or
- legal or platform requirements change.
The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will indicate when the Policy was most recently revised.
Users are encouraged to review this Policy periodically.
